My friend Mary took me to New York for a little trip to see David Archuleta. It was soooo much fun! I actually got to meet him... 3 times!!!!! It was so much fun hanging out with my best friend. It felt like we were in High School again. It was exhausting but we sure did have fun.



Here is my video of both times I got his autograph. The first one was on his way in to the Today show and the 2nd was at during the show.

This is Lenny. He has been coming to the Today Show for 20 years. We stood by him all day.


We got a ton of pictures of David but these were my favorites.












Mary scored us tickets on the MTV show TRL. We went in and they put us in the back. Then they saw our red T-shirts that we made that had David on them and they put us right on the stage. We were right up front and got to talk to David. We even shook his hand. We also got on TV a lot. Watch this video and you will see us on both sides of the center camera. We were on such a high that day. It was so unbelievable.

Mary's cousin told us it was a sin to come all the way to NY and go to Olive Garden. We can eat there anytime. Mary and I still went. We wanted Olive Garden so we went. We are sooo bad!!!

We went to Ground Zero. They were building a new building so there was a lot of construction.


We went to the Manhattan Temple. Luckily we weren't there during all the protesting.


We went to this amazing crepe place for dinner. Before we went home we went back there again. The chocolate and strawberries were divine!!!!






The Subway system in New York is crazy confusing! Even the map had us lost. We were on our way to the airport to fly home and went the WRONG WAY!!! We ended up on the other side of New York City. So we jumped off the subway and caught a cab (during rush hour might I add, so it wasn't easy!) We got to the airport just in time to MISS OUR FLIGHT. The next flight out wasn't until the next day so we slept in the airport on a round bench. Very uncomfortable. After all the good luck we had that trip we really couldn't complain so all we could do was just laugh about it.
