Mary Jesperson and I auditioned for American Idol this year. It was crazy! It was such a long day. We got to see Ryan Seacrest though! Wohoo! We sat around for 10 hours and then sang for 10 seconds for the producers. Simon, Paula, and Randy weren't there. You have to pass 2 rounds with the producers before you see them. We sang, and they said we obviously had good voices but we weren't right for the competition. It was a long day but I was so glad I tried. This was the picture they posted on the American Idol website. It was Mary and I and the people standing by us in line all day.
